MediaLive International to Co-Sponsor 'Invigorating Live Marketing' Workshop at ITSMA's 2005 Annual Conference

Experts from Avaya, Cisco, and Wingate Studios to Help Technology Services and Solutions Marketers Maximize Live Marketing Investments

SAN FRANCISCO—September 27, 2005—MediaLive International, producer of the technology industry's leading events and WingateWeb event management software, today announced that it will co-sponsor a special pre-conference workshop titled 'Invigorating Live Marketing' on Nov. 7, 2005, as part of the IT Services Marketing Association's (ITSMA) eleventh annual conference for services and solutions marketers, to be held at The Charles Hotel in Cambridge, MA, on Nov. 8-9, 2005. The half-day workshop is designed to help services and solutions marketers leverage events to their full potential, maximizing the return on their live marketing investments. The workshop will feature the following sessions:

  • "Demonstrating" services at live events — Julie McCan, Director, Services Marketing, Avaya, will share how Avaya devised and executed a launch strategy for Avaya Remote Managed Services for IP Telephony at VoiceCon 2005;
  • Integrating product and service marketing at trade shows — Kathleen Sulgit, Senior Manager, Event Marketing, Cisco Systems, will outline how the networking giant integrates partner services and products at Interop and other industry trade shows, including the strategy and the work they do with individual product and services groups to pull everything together and measure the results.
  • Using technology to set up targeted, pre-matched meetings with customers — Tom Karren, General Manager and Vice President, Technology, Wingate Studios, will address how to use the latest event marketing technology to strengthen relationships with partners and customers.

In addition, workshop participants will be led through a blueprinting exercise that will map out the event experience to reinforce a brand's unique value, creating loyalty and advocacy for the company and its offerings.

"At MediaLive International, we have always been committed to giving marketers the tools and services they need to improve productivity and sales alignment around events," said Robert W. Priest-Heck, President and CEO of MediaLive International. "Our collaboration with ITSMA enables us to help services and solutions marketers successfully bring their innovative ideas, services, and solutions to life at live events."

ITSMA works with many of the top technology companies in the world, helping them generate new business, build customer loyalty, and strengthen brand differentiation. ITSMA's 2005 Annual Conference: Marketing on the Verge will address the most critical issues facing services and solutions marketers today, including:
